To measure vulnerability, it is necessary to identify certain contributing components, including exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity. Exposure and sensitivity contribute to increasing the vulnerability, while adaptive capacity contributes to decreasing the vulnerability. Using this scheme, we identify specific variables for each component. These variables are called vulnerability variables. Next, we employ the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to obtain scores for each variable. Following the vulnerability assessment, five councils are categorized as areas with high vulnerability scores, including Canal-Fanafo, East Malo, East Santo, West Malo, and West Santo. This is because these areas are relatively close to the source of the threat (earthquake hazard). Moreover, these councils have a limited number of public facilities.
2024-01-02T08:13:30+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://sjdgge.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/Sjdgge/article/view/530 Disaster Management of the Regional Disaster Manajement Agency (BPBD) of Gunungkidul Regency in Drought- Phone Areas 2024-01-02T08:26:32+00:00 Diah Kumalasari diahkumala502@gmail.com Adie Dwiyanto Nurlukman adiedwiyanto@umt.ac.id Toddy Aditya toddy.aditya08@gmail.com Slamet Setiawan slametsetiawan1406@gmail.com Toddy Aditya toddy.aditya08@gmail.com Slamet Setiawan Slametsetiawan1406@gmail.com
Gunungkidul Regency experiences a clean water crisis every year due to the prolonged dry season and the geological condition of the Gunungkidul region, which is dominated by karst mountains, so that rainwater that falls on the ground surface will immediately seep into the ground and then form underground rivers. Training on the use of GNSS will be conducted using the latest GNSS device owned by the school. The students will be taught about the operation and programming of GNSS devices, as well as methods of analyzing the data generated. After the training, the students will be evaluated through tests and field projects. The results show that most students initially have a limited understanding of GNSS and difficulty in using GNSS devices. The improvement of this ability has positive implications for the preparation of students in facing the increasingly complex demands of the job market. The ability to use GNSS is becoming more important in various fields such as construction, mapping, surveying, precision agriculture, and environmental monitoring. Students who have been well trained in the use of GNSS will have a competitive advantage in seeking employment or pursuing further education.
2024-01-02T09:30:40+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://sjdgge.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/Sjdgge/article/view/535 Increased Landslide Disaster Preparedness of Dukuh Kerajan Community, Tulungagung Regency Through Poster Media 2024-01-04T14:52:19+00:00 Mohamad Ferdaus Noor Aulady mohamadaulady@itats.ac.id Yafie Abdillah Akbar yafieabdillahakbar@gmail.com
Landslide disasters in Indonesia are increasing, one of which is in Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province, including areas that are quite vulnerable to landslides. It was recorded that 55 landslides hit Tulungagung Regency and caused considerable losses. From the results of the review, it becomes a parameter for researchers to offer pre-disaster mitigation programs in the form of providing posters containing disaster mitigation materials to communities in landslide-prone areas. The choice of poster media is because the information conveyed is easier to reach and understand by the public. In this study, researchers used a measurement tool in the form of a questionnaire that was distributed to 76 respondents so that initial understanding through Pretest and improvement after giving poster media through Posttest. The results of data analysis in which, the value of knowledge of the people who were respondents in this study was considered better and, in the Wilcoxon, test obtained a result of <0.05 showed that poster media is effective as a medium in supporting disaster preparedness in Tulungagung Regency
2024-01-04T14:52:17+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://sjdgge.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/Sjdgge/article/view/538 Training for Improving Competence of Senior High School Geography Teachers in Remote Sensing at Sman 16 Padang City 2024-01-10T03:06:51+00:00 Sri Kandi Putri dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Deded Chandra dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Helfia Edial dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Sri Mariya dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Mentari Dian Pertiwi dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Sari Nova dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id
This article aims to enhance the capabilities of teachers and students in the field of Remote Sensing and to understand the components present in remote sensing products. The aim of this research is to determine the degraded land index and policy directions for controlling degraded land in the Anai watershed. To determine the degraded land index using a GIS approach with four indicators, namely: percentage of land cover, slope, soil depth, and land management. Next, to determine the direction of degraded land control policies using the AHP approach. The research results show that around 48% of the Anai watershed is degraded land. The results of the analysis of the AHP approach to policy strategies in controlling degraded land show that there are three priority directions, namely: 1) increasing community knowledge about forests; 2) increasing community skills regarding the added value of forest products; and 3) strengthening the institutions of indigenous community groups in forest areas.

2024-01-29T08:47:53+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://sjdgge.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/Sjdgge/article/view/536 Training on the Creation of 3d Learning Media for Lithosphere Materials in the Geography Teachers' Working Group (Mgmp) of Senior High Schools in Padang City 2024-01-31T09:08:20+00:00 Deded Chandra dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Helfia Edial dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Iswandi U dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Sari Nova dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Sri Kandi Putri dededchandra@fis.unp.ac.id Mentari Dian Pertiwi mentaridianp@fis.unp.ac.id
This article aims to enhance teachers' skills in creating interactive learning media and to improve teachers' understanding of pedagogical aspects that can be seen in the lesson planning process, especially in the selection of models or methods and learning media. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using non-participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation aimed at people living on the north coast of Sumbawa Island and Satonda island which directly face the Flores Sea. The research results show that the resilience of the northern coastal area of Satonda Island is classified as vulnerable because the local community does not yet understand the potential for earthquakes and tsunamis and disaster mitigation aspects have not been a priority agenda for the local government. People who live on the coast do not receive socialization and knowledge about natural disaster mitigation. Thus, the resilience of the community area to face natural disasters is still relatively weak, so there is a high risk of negative impacts from these natural disasters
2024-01-29T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://sjdgge.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/Sjdgge/article/view/573 The Effect of Using a Social Science Learning Module Based on Local Wisdom of Aceh Culture on Student Motivation and Learning Outcome 2024-01-31T08:35:20+00:00 Ayu Arianti rahminovalita11111@gmail.com Rahmi Novalita rahminovalita11111@gmail.com Rambang Muharramsyah rahminovalita11111@gmail.com
This research aims to describe; 1) the effect of using modules on student learning motivation,2) the effect of using modules on student learning outcomes, and 3) the effect of using modules on studentmotivation and learning outcomes.
